Forensic Operations
The Forensic Operations Department at Oak Ridge includes three main areas:
CENTRAL STAFFING provides support to all programs and some departments for various staffing functions, including assisting with schedule production and support, coordianation of staffing related information, and hiring additional staff to cover approved leaves.
FRONT OFFICE SECURITY provides perimeter security surveillance and fire checks, escorts visitors and patients inside and outside the building, processes patients being admitted and discharged, processes staff and visitors entering and leaving the building, coordinates emergency response for all codes across all of MHCP as well as provides safety and security training.
OAK RIDGE CENTRAL REHABILITATION SERVICES, encompassing:
- Oak Ridge Central Recreation - a centrally-based recreation/leisure service providing an array of indoor and outdoor leisure and recreational activities, both passive and active for Oak Ridge patients;
- Oak Ridge Vocational Services - providing a learning environment, where Oak Ridge patients are able to work on their own individual treatment and vocational goals, as well as providing them the opportunity to be involved in their own affirmative business;
- Oak Ridge Patient Education - providing academic programs in a positive learning environment with the flexibility that allows students to pursue goals at their individual level of ability. Students are able to earn secondary school credits towards their diploma, participate in post-secondary correspondence courses or simply take general interest courses.
