Rehabilitation Services

Rehabilitation Services promotes recovery and personal growth through Leisure, Education, Employment, Music Therapy, Hairdressing and Personal Care. We provide specialized services for persons experiencing serious mental illness that increase independence, promotes wellness and enhances their sense of meaning and purpose in life.

These services are located at the HERO Centre (Housing, Employment and Education, Recreation, Our Place Social club) at 334 King St. in downtown Midland as well as the MHCP Administration Building at 500 Church St. in Penetanguishene.

The Rehabilitation Services team of  professionals, skilled in each of their disciplines, utilize evidence based practice and a recovery approach within all services. Through recovery meetings clients invite family, friends and providers to gather to develop a plan of action to effectively support them to increase their courage and confidence to move forward and achieve full integration in their community of choice.
